President Obama’s campaign team was selected as the most innovative company for 2008 year by a reputed business magazine in the US !
The team was innovative in the way they have utilized the technology to reach people through modern communication tools like internet and mobiles. Possibly they have changed the track of the game of presidency race. The innovation is not in the use of these tools rather in changing the way political campaigns are run using modern tools.
At his capacity of a president, Obama's agenda for a better US included a strong emphasis on “Innovative US”. Not a surprise as his campaign took the innovation as a road to success.
President Obama understands that nations like Brazil, India and China are consistently closing the gap with the US in business innovation which means less competitive position for the US in the world of business.
As an Executive or a decision maker in your organization and weather your aim is growth or survival you must count on what can make a genuine differentiation in this competitive and turbulent market. Leaders and Business Executives in ambitious countries believe strongly in innovation as the best path for growth and/or survival.
Soon corporate won’t be judged based on revenue or market share alone rather on their innovation readiness. The more the business climate is based on innovation the more chances for the organization to succeed and survive any market competition situation or turbulence.
